Before You Start
You only need two things:
A Windows PC
Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit required)
A Web Browser
Chrome, Edge, or Firefox (already on your PC!)
No programming knowledge required โ just click and run!
Step-by-Step Installation
Follow these steps in order to get Rigbook running.
Go to the Releases Page
Open your web browser and type this address into the address bar, then press Enter:
Click the file rigbook-windows-amd64.exe to download it.
Run the Program
- Open your Downloads folder โ press Win + E and click Downloads on the left.
- Find rigbook-windows-amd64.exe (or the amd64 version you downloaded).
- Double-click the file to run it.
Windows may say "Windows protected your PC." This is normal for unsigned apps.
Click "More info" โ then click "Run anyway" to continue.
Rigbook Opens in Your Browser!
Rigbook automatically opens your browser when it starts and connects to:
If the browser doesn't open automatically, type that address into your browser manually.
First-Time Setup
Do this once after Rigbook first opens:
- 1Click the โฐ hamburger menu (top right) and go to Settings
- 2Enter your callsign (e.g.
KD0ABC) - 3Enter your grid square (e.g.
DN40โ find yours at qrz.com) - 4Click Save
